stevehnz
Worth having or not. There is one on the local auction site for not much but do I need another FAA tome, only if it is better than quite good I think. Steve.
Jinxman
Was flicking through my copy earlier - picked mine up from a local charity shop for £2.50. 176 pages with a type by type description and plenty of b&w photos. You get one page for the Sea Vixen and one page for the Curtiss Seamew , so you get the idea. The photos are generally ok, it was published in 1982, and so anything from the last 38 years isn't covered. There is a data list and index as well. Worth £2.50 for sure, it was £8.95 in 1982.
John B (Sc)
Some quite good pictures in it, some familiar some new to me - and like you BM I have quite a few FAA tomes. I bought mine new in 198x.
Seahawk
Given the title, I imagine I must have looked at this a few times in the 30-odd years since it came out but evidently the desire to dip hand into pocket has never become overpowering. Nowadays, on a slow day in a charity shop, I might pick it up if I saw it for £2.50.
stevehnz
Too late now anyway, I've bid the start price, see how I go later in the week. At least it doesn't sound like a total clunker. Steve.
