StyrenePilot1970
1/48 Airfix Supermarine Spitfire Mk. XII. Mostly out of the box, including decals which were a bit thick. Hataka paints. Should have replaced the wheels, the hubs are on wrong (my fault). Kept the canopy closed because of that weird Airfix throwback. Cockpit is mostly invisible. Found photos of the real machine and as a result it is very lightly weathered and has no antennae. Not my favorite work or my favorite Spitfire kit, but kudos to Airfix for molding the more "exotic" marques. 46
Bandsaw Steve
Nice job. I built one of these when the kit first came out and really enjoyed it. Brings back memories. 👍

Vlad
Nice build, very neatly executed and good job on keeping ot clean! This kit gets a really bad rep for accuracy but it really looks the part in your build. I wish I got one back when they were available, it's a bit frustrating how small the airfix kit runs are and how quickly they vanish.

SAT69
Now that's a high quality build. Not knowing much of anything about Spitfires, I'd have missed the wheel hub error had you not mentioned it. I'd surely be proud to have that model in my collection.
Blanketyblank
I loved this lovely clean build so much that I bid for one on Ebay and have just won it. I have an Airfix mug with the MkXII box art on it so It was high up my list of builds.
opus999
I've heard some criticisms about this model's accuracy, but it looks good to me and you've done a great job! I hope to kitbash a 1/72 Mk. XII together myself.

Peter W
It's a kit that takes some work to get a good result but you've managed it and ended up with a great looking Spitfire. Pete
