Blimey, I go away for a week or so and I missed this :o

Cracking work fella, top notch painting

Cheers gents 👍

dan, 95% done, should complete it this week

Yes col, friday was spent re-masking and lightening the blue,   a ball ache but i wasn't happy with how dark the blue came out after a couple of days looking at it ,  yesterday saw the decals go on, its glossed, i like it! I'll  post a piccie later before the final assembly of the folded rotors

A quick update before its completion, a bit of tidying in some areas still to do before the bits and piece's go on , and rebuild the pilots step, which i clumsily broke off,

I remasked and redid the blue, i didn't  like it .

The decals were faultless for application , i mixed the orange  top canopy colour from  tamiyas clear  red and yellow, a shame about the kits non clear clear parts though

I had to remove the side door masks so i can paint the lower half of them  next, and redo the front white outline

That is looking excellent Glynn, some really nice painting.

Interesting how the paint covers the lower half of the clear door, could be quite a tricky curve to follow, any idea how you will tackle it?

🤬 I'm on it now craig, hopefully it will be a fair representation 😋

The paintwork and decaling is up to your high build standards so everything is looking great now :speak_cool:

Sometimes the bar is set too high col, this is probably one of the most challenging schemes I've  done,  but it looks so simple, perhaps as H , and craig suggested, i should have blasted it in day-glo  😋 and moved on
