Dereknf
This one has been lurking for a long time and I think it's a very old Lindberg kit. It goes together quite well but not much in the way of detail. The decals were surprisingly good but as usual I struggled with the gloss finish. I hope one day someone will produce a decent kit of the Tiger. SAT69
That is the old Lindberg kit and as I recall it represents the Tiger prototype, as did many of those early Lindberg kits: XF-88A, F-86D and F7U-1 come to mind. Yours is a nice build of the classic kit.
dnl42
Per Corky Meyer, it is indeed a good, albeit sparsely detailed, representation of the prototype F11F The prototype was actually first called an XF9F-8 and then XF9F-9...

bryanm
Very nice - return of 'The Lindberg Line'! I've never seen one of those before and it looks very different to the production Tiger.

Shorty84
Very nice work, those Lindberg kits can still be built into nice replicas. Like the Blue Angels livery, nice and colourful 👍 Cheers Markus

But you need a hunger for punishment.... Since it is a Fonderie Miniature one... good one Derek. I don't know if I still have this kit in the stash... You achieved a great kit ! Sincerely. 72modeler
Oh boy, did this build bring back fond modeling memories! Built one back when I was ten or so; I recall that silly little hatch that revealed the same jet engine that was used on several of the 1/48 Lindberg jet models of that time period, including the F-100 and X-3! Nice model! Mike
