1/48 Junkers Ju 88D-1, ICM+Eduard+CTA

Recommended Posts

Good day, ladies and gentlemen! Let me present you my next model. The model is noteworthy in that it exists in a single genus, because these side numbers and logo are individually designed. This board performed reconnaissance flights over Baku (Azerbaijan) during the WWII.

Hello, Fuad -

Your JU88 is wonderful - how long did it take to complete?

Regards

Dave

Thank you for attention. It took exactly two weeks.

Hi Fuad,

You've done it again! Superb modelling man! Amazing!

One question - what is the reason for leaving the props and prop hubs clean as a whistle? Reference photos or...?

Best,

Nikola

Great work, Fuad... this is a nice kit to build, and you have done it justice.  Well done... ;-).

The screws were wooden, so there were no chips on them. And photos of these boards you can find on this link. This is the site of one of the crew members of this board - Max Lagoda.

Absolutely fabulous work Fuad, and so well photographed as well!   Where do you get your modelling supplies? Are there good model shops in Baku?  or is it Mail order only? (You never know, I might end up there again one day- I have stopped in Baku briefly, but didn't get off the plane- on my way to Ashgabat 🙂

Ah, ok. Thanks for the info and the link. Very interesting.

If I may ask, what is your method for white panel line wash? Looks excellent.

Thanks in advance.

Best,

Nikola

Unfortunately, we have almost no model stores in Baku. I buy everything online and when I am in Ukraine.

It's ordinary washing fluid from MIG - COLD GRAY WASH (75ml).
