Faraway
I’ve just started building the 1/48 Airfix Hawker Hunter F.6 and as I usually do, I’m using Eduard PE seatbelts. But I’m finding them VERY confusing, there seem to be more belts to fit than could be used when sat in the seat and I’m not sure if some of them are optional, but the instructions are not saying this. So if any of you out there have used these parts and know the answer, I will be forever grateful. The seatbelt set is Eduard Zoom FE 970. I was really scratching my head. Many, many thanks. Jon
Julien
I had the same issue when doing the Meteor F.8 Seat, in the end I left one of the lap sets off as it just looked too busy with them all on. Looked OK tho

On ejection as if all parameters at met the seat unlocks the straps and the seat falls away leaving the pilot in the same harness that he strapped into. I think the old US style seats the pilots had to clip into the seats harness system and the walked out to the jet with a parachute.

Martin Baker seats up to at least the Mk-4's had the blue seat straps and the buff chute pack seats. I routinely tea leafed spares off the Mark 4's fitted to our MB.326H's on 724 squadron as, thanks to MB love of commonality, they fit perfectly on MB MK-4A's fitted to Sea Venom's.
