Vallejo Model Air

Hi, I wanted to try some ModelAir paints, a lot of people suggest using their flow improver too, but can you use IPA instead, or am  I better taking a hit for tenner for the proper stuff?

I seem to remember V MA goes into a gloop if used with IPA. 

I use W&N Flow Improver for mine.

I have used distilled water to thin Model Air..

I don't use Vallejo products, but one thing I've always done is use the paint manufacturer's recommended thinners and additives, regardless of brand or type of paint. It's just not worth saving a dollar or Euro or two to risk something going wrong by substituting a cheaper product.

@Jonathan Mock suggestion if using vajello airbrush cleaner to thin their paint is working well for me...

Each to their own but I don't find Model Air needs thinning for airbrushing.

Same here, I use it as is. I also use it for brush painting small parts again straight from the bottle and it works well for that.
