Andwil
The lest of the antennae are added, as was the pitot tube, flotation gear and cabin door. As I had manGed to lose the hand rail from in front of the cockpit air made a replacement cut from a thin slice of square tube. Two whip aerials made from broom bristles were also added under the nose. With all the delicate sticky out bits this model is becoming very tricky to handle. Thanks for looking. Andwil
Rotor assembled: 23 hours ago, Andwil said: With all the delicate sticky out bits this model is becoming very tricky to handle. So far I have managed to knock off the pitot and one of the aerial posts. With the cargo sling, fuel tank and aerial wires to attach and some touching up of paint still to come, I can foresee some more bits coming adrift. Thanks for looking. That is almost always why I never finish a Helo build. The rotors never go good for me and break.
Andwil
The cargo sling that I made earlier is attached to the belly with thin wire and fine thread for the hydraulic lines and cables: Then the fuel tank was attached and the aerial wires from Uschi stretchy line: had to carefully separate those two on the starboard side that wanted to cling together! and it’s done: A big thank you to all who posted encouraging comments.
