The door interiors are now masked and awaiting painting and decals: There is a great level of detail in the decals! Back in the Saddle Posted October 8, 2020 Author Share Posted October 8, 2020 Time to start the top coat! I have decided to spray the tiget stripes first, starting with the yellow/orange. Here's another image from Phil Cooke, showing the colour: This is my version, following a mixing session to try to replicate the colour: I think with hindsight it needed a hint more orange, but it looks pretty similar.👍 The black is next, once I get the masking sorted!😆 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Back in the Saddle Posted October 9, 2020 Author Share Posted October 9, 2020 I scaled the painting diagram up to the correct size: My intention was to produce some masks for the tiger stripes, but I realised that was too complicated and decided to hand paint them instead: Not completely true to the diagram, but it certainly is starting to look like a tiger!
