Well this settles the age old argument of what came first!

The egg timer has run out of sand on a most eggs-citing build.

Hasegawa vintage Harrier Cab Egg Plane.

Brush painted, a bit of Pink Primer.

AM decals.

Railway lamp post with led light.

Without further ado, allow me to serve you Wing Commander Badminton-Squash DFC, Most Magnificent Moustache, etc, etc, etc

his faithful hound Baskerville and his single seat taxi.

Hi all and first one done, Italeri's AH-6 built as T.C's MD-500 from the TV show, Magnum p.i

Short build thread is here but to recap:

Kit: Italeri 017 AH-6 Night Fox

Build: OOB with seat belts from Tamiya tape and rear seat bench from plasticard.

Paints: Halfords grey primer, Tamiya Pink primer, Revell Acrylics with an airbrush. Klear and small wash

Extras: 3g weight in the floor, part of the tail boom replaced with sprue after damage

Good fun build but the clear parts don't fit very well.

WiP is right here...

Here are some pics!  All the paints are Vallejo and Vallejo Air...Aside from a couple of small things you cant see, it's OOB.  Easily the largest model I have ever built, but maybe it is smaller than the Italeri C-119 Boxcar...Anyway.  It's big.  Imagine seeing this thing coming your way!

Westland Lynx HAS3. Hobbyboss's boxing in 1:72. Finished as XZ250  in the Black Cats livery of 702 NAS's helicopter display team.

Built OOB, the only addition seat belts from painted Tamiya tape. Masks from Eduard. The transfers are from the kit. Brush painted with Xtracrylix Medium Sea Grey and Humbrol 85 Coal Black. Finished off with a layer of satin varnish. Nice kit and lovely build. I think I'll build some more.

Airfix Sea King AEW2. Kit is primarily one from the '60s with some more recent parts to make the AEW or AsAC version and some lovely transfers. The radome in the new moulds is an inflated version for an inflight aircraft. In the stash I had an Airwaves resin deflated radome so that was used instead.

Finished OOB otherwise as XV714 from A Flight of 849 NAS from HMS Illustrious in 1988. Brush painted with Xtracrylix Dark Sea Grey and finished off with some Liquitex matt varnish.

1/72nd Westland Dragonfly HR3 , Whirlybird kit finished as WP502, B 983 of the Ships Flight HMS Bulwark, 1954-7

The Dragonfly was a licenced built version of the Sikorsky S51 with a new engine and changes to the glazing. Used by both the RAF and the Royal Navy for rescue and communications duties from the early 50's to the early 1960's The Whirlybird kit is a mixed media one using vacform fuselage, two types of resin and PE. The decals are from the kit and the paints are Xtracyrlix, Revell, Vallejo and Citadel. Not a kit for the novice, but a satisfying build.

Build thread is here

Hobby Boss Sikorsky UH-34A, finished as a U.S. Navy machine in Antarctica livery. My first GB build ever! Good kit and good aftermarket decals from Max Decals. The orange is Vallejo Game Air "Hot Orange" and that is exactly what it is!

I tarted up the cabin a bit but you need to be a contortionist (or a very small person) to see it.

Here's my Hawker Siddeley Harrier GR.3, my first Harrier, but probably not my last.  Neat aircraft.  Very unique. Attractive in the way that the smartest girl at the dance is more attractive than the runway model, if you get my drift.  The build thread is here...
