SAT69 Posted June 21, 2020 Posted June 21, 2020 I have no problem at all calling that a professional grade build. Love the cockpit!
Farmerboy Posted June 21, 2020 Posted June 21, 2020 Absolutely stunning, top draw modelling, good job!
The_Lancaster Posted June 21, 2020 Posted June 21, 2020 That is an extremely nice Mustang! Excellent piece of modelling
Vlad Posted June 22, 2020 Posted June 22, 2020 Wow! That looks amazing, I love the subtle shading, variations in paintwork and how all the different textures and details "pop" without it looking overdone. Cockpit deserves special mention, it looks so real.
Wulfman Posted June 22, 2020 Posted June 22, 2020 Beautiful looking Mustang, superb modelling ! Wulfman
Mark Joyce Posted June 22, 2020 Posted June 22, 2020 One of the nicest painted models, especially the NMF, I've seen. A real piece of art. Cheers, Mark
polybebber Posted June 22, 2020 Posted June 22, 2020 No doubt at all, this is one of the - if not THE - best P-51s I've ever seen in this scale. I'll take a bow!! Lothar
BlueNosers352nd Posted June 23, 2020 Posted June 23, 2020 Dang! How do you make that nose piece work so well? It's one of the downfalls of this kit IMO.

Do you mean the upper cowl piece? I did have to shim it with some plasticard but it was a quick fix The underside needed a shim as well Edited June 23, 2020 by Brewer Adding photos 1
Corsairfoxfouruncle Posted June 24, 2020 Posted June 24, 2020 Great looking Pony ! ... I love the 361st.

Lose detail everytime I clean it up. Looks like you handled it very well there!
redcap Posted June 25, 2020 Posted June 25, 2020 The oxidised and dulled aluminum effect is superb and ultra realistic. Fabulous P-51. Gary
Dstream Posted June 25, 2020 Posted June 25, 2020 Stunning! Control of paintwork and effects is amazing. Congrats, Daniele
Andrés S. Posted June 25, 2020 Posted June 25, 2020 Great job in all aspects. Well-built and very well painted throughout. I like very much!! Andrés S.
RichieW Posted June 26, 2020 Posted June 26, 2020 Very special build, I love the slightly aged look to the aluminium especially.
Shark444 Posted June 26, 2020 Posted June 26, 2020 What @RichieW said...! Also the scuffing on the floor of the cockpit from the pilot’s boot heels is a nice touch, too. 👍
