My dear Martian, please can you remember time zones when you post such things? I was about to head to my bed for some splendid slumber and my eye fell upon the General's pants. I may never sleep again 🥺

Better than stumbling across it at breakfast time! 🤢🤮

Sheep are not an issue. The bigger problem is a Haggis in the Trossachs.

An optivisor in the naughty corner would be nice, so I can see what I am doing.

Am I the only one who thought there was a resemblance to Biffo the Bear?

clearly the General's roots go deep into the dark ages.....

This is truer than anyone will ever know.....

I am never going to get the image of the General dressed in nothing but a kilt and battle sporan and with his general's cap atop flowing red hair out of my mind!

Good, the plan worked, if I can catch the villainous martian totally orf guard then we can go on to win the greatest victory since the Earth Eleven beat Mars, twelve sore tentacles to one...

I had something similar happen to me at the last regimental Highland Games although that was more a case of receiving an Ecclefechan in the neeps and tatties...

Ahem....Pot, kettle...kettle, pot..

Nah! More like an incredibly attractive, youthful and ever so slightly accessible young Alien methinks.

There's almost as much modelling going on in this thread as on my workbench at the moment :tease:

As much as that?

Ah but this is a Martian thread, it’s about 40% banter, 20% insanity and the remainder very fine model making which you appreciate all the more when it breaks out :) ( note: proportions subject to change at a whim)

If I have your permission, I shall endeavour to bring some modelling to this thread and hopefully, keep a certain impatient site owner of this parish happy.

The rear bulkhead of the Canberra features a number of large electrical connections and these were fabricated from plastic rod and Albion Alloys' tubing. Why is it that one can dry fit parts with ease any number of times but when confronted with glue, they don't want to know?

Having got the electrical connections sorted out, attention then turned to fabricating the throttle boxes for the unstructor and pupil. They look so small and inoffensive don't they? Wrong! I took over two hours at the bench to get them sorted. I have not made the levers yet as these will be too prone to damage at this stage and will be attached immdeiately before the canopy is fitted.

The T4 had a large panel attached to the starboard cabin wall, it seems to have been some sort of fuse box. Whatever it's function, it has been replicated and is about 90% complete.

Sorry for the interuption, the mayhem may now resume.

Thanks for looking.

Brilliant but mad, you're certainly going to need to leave the navigators light on when you paint it all black and close it up 😉

I will say that seeing this has convinced me that I need to add to my tool collection because I couldn't imaging doing that work without a better set than I currently have.
