CedB
I have this thing for WWII trainers. No, not old running shoes, but those aircraft that gained little praise for all the work they did letting future aircrew practice their skills. So when I saw the Dora Wings Proctor, I had to build one. Even though I'd promised to stay away from tiny for a while. Build largely OOB with added nav lights and replaced control columns - it's a very nice kit with few problems. Brush painted with Hu24 Yellow (because I like it) and Colourcoats for the camo. Finished with W&N Matt varnish. Very little can be seen of the detailed internals, even with the flash on: … so here are some shots from the WiP showing the detail provided in the kit: Yes, those levers ARE tiny. WiP with details can be found here: Next time I do tiny, if ever, I'll make sure the paint is smoother - or not take close ups!
John Laidlaw
I can't keep up with your builds as you move so quickly, but you keep popping out these gorgeous models. Splendid stuff!
Cookenbacher
Wonderful trainer (the aeroplane kind) Ced.
Brandy
Lovely job Ced. You can't hang them all from the ceiling and this one definitely deserves a spot under cover. Ian
Aces High
That's fantastic! Great work, and lucky you took some photos of the cockpit before it was closed up!

SAT69
Very nice model. I'm really impressed with the cockpit. What is the purpose of the third seat in the rear? Radio operator?

Ian Thanks Ian Quite right, although I do have quite a big ceiling… 14 hours ago, Aces High said: That's fantastic! Great work, and lucky you took some photos of the cockpit before it was closed up! Thanks SAT, kind of you The Proctor was principally used for radio training I believe so I guess that's where the 'student' sat, in front of the (for this little plane) huge radios! 11 hours ago, Wulfman said: Really good job on the Proctor, nice work ! TEXANTOMCAT
Great work on a tricky kit👍 Personally O think the IP and decals they give you make up the best representation of an IP I’ve ever built!

ColinChipmunkfan
Well done Ced. The amount of detail you have squeezed into a tiny kit is really impressive. I did not even think of opening up my Frog Proctor.

CedB
Thanks Phil, glad you like it Thanks Opus The cockpit detail is nice but a faff - I suspect it's scaled down from the 1/48 kit and some of the PE is minuscule!
DaveyGair
Lovely job Ced. Keep getting tempted by one of these and now you've made my mind up, fiddly etch or not! Davey.
