Very nice - what technique did you use for the paint chipping on the wing roots? Looks finely done without overdoing it or looking deliberate

Cheers

Les

Hey Les thanks for the comments mate. For chipping on the wing roots I just used the silver on a small piece of foam technique and dabbed it on sparingly then cut it back with oils. HTH.

Hey everyone

Today I've managed a little work on my Spitfire, that is I've pretty much taken the engine as far as I want too without going mad on additional detailing - the standard kit engine builds up pretty well as it is...

..Looking at it through the eye of the camera it looks a little rough and I can see about 1 million hairs that need removing!

Anyway

Cheers all

Hi everyone

Just a couple of pictures with the engine module attached.....not over the moon at the moment as it seems that the fit isn't the best but that's probably my doing rather than the kits...

..Still lots to do but we're getting there.

Cheers

Great looking nacelle and engine! That could sit all on its own. Everything else is just aces!

Thank you buddy 😎👍

Not sure if it's been mentioned already, but the tail wheel is on backwards.

Lol it’s meant to be, the plane will be part of a dispersal diorama.
