Black Knight
To keep the story short, I was given a load of 'scrap' kits. Sorting through the parts I was able to get enough parts for several old-tool Airfix Red Arrows Gnats. I decided to Whif them. This is the first finished. As a Luftwaffe trainer Watch this space for the next one!

jackroadkill
Very cool! The high-viz orange is lovely. Daft newbie question (sorry!) - what does whiffed mean?
dogsbody
I don't think that I've ever whiffed a gnat before. There have been a few other events in my life but I can't describe them here, for fear of being excommunicated from the forum. Oh yeah, nice work! In this case What If the Luftwaffe bought and used the Gnat T.1 as a primary jet trainer ? Because they never did. What might it look like? Never be sorry asking a question.
