Davide Calzolari
er" what? "being" instead boeing ?sorry but above i find your answer not recognizable. Please gently improve your written english,if you can, thnx in ad
Pin
"Being" was supposed to be present continuous form of "be", but thank you for your suggestion, I will turn off the sarcasm. To the best of my knowledge there is only one kit in 1/125. So if you stick to this scale you simply have no other option - it is the best, thers is no other. Scott Garard
Davide, The best 747-100/200 kits as far as accurate shapes are concerned: 1. 1/200 Hasegawa 2. 1/100 Nitto/Entex/Doyusha (hard to get and expensive) 3. 1/125 Heller (let down by the horrible engines) 4. 1/144 Revell (showing its age) Stay away from everything else... Cheers! Edited June 15, 2020 by Scott Garard
Pin
If other than 1/125 scales are considered then Scott has missed 1/144 Authentic Airliners 100/200 early/late PW/GE kits https://www.authentic-airliners.de/epages/64205758.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/64205758/Products/K144-GE https://www.authentic-airliners.de/epages/64205758.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/64205758/Products/K144-49PW_early https://www.authentic-airliners.de/epages/64205758.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/64205758/Products/K144-49PW_later Be warned - these are resin kits, expensive, but shape and detail wise they beat all other offerings in 1/144. Welsh Models 747 are also better in shape than old Revell, but they are multimedia Vac/Resin kits, not everyone's cup of tea ether http://www.welshmodels.co.uk/skyliner.html

SAT69
Davide, are you looking for best models of the 747-100 or 747-200 only? If not, and if 1/144 is a scale you can work with, the Zvezda 747-8i and Revell 747-8i are available. Modelers get into some discussions over which is the better of the two kits. I have the Zvezda kit and I like it very much. Revell makes a 1/144 scale 747-400, though I can't speak for the quality of that kit. I'm confident other members of this site can give you good information regarding the quality of the Zvezda and Revell kits I've mentioned. I hope you find what you're looking for.
