T-34 76 Mod. 1941

Hi guys,

 

I will try to build this model.

It was a second hand box I bought last year at a show. When I had a good look inside I noticed that the original turret was gone and there was a resin one inside.

Now isn't that a problem, the only downside was a resin gun barrel, that I have replaced with a metall one from  RB models. I have also got a set of Friul metal tracks for it.

I hope they will fit.

I have nightmares about those individual track links but they do look great when they're done. Good luck with this one

Keep the kit tracks safe as they're the early narrow type not commonly offered. It'll be good to see an early vehicle that survived the first winter too. I'll be watching with interest. Best of luck with it.

Hi guys,

 

Here are some pictures of the progress I made.

I have putted the wheel axels in and also mated the top hull to the bottom hull.

I did a testfit with the resin tower and it went in smoothly. I also made up the wheels

That is how far I got.

I also noticed that I have bought the wrong tracks for it. But I will try to get some good ones ordered next week. With that I will also order a T-34/85 for the wrong tracks

Some more work done on the model. The turret is ready with the new metal barrel and I have also doing some small stuff on the hull.
