Newbie(kinda)
Always a pleasure seeing your aircraft builds Stix; ESPECIALLY when it's a Spitfire. Superb build, finish and weathering; I genuinely thought it was 1/48! Heading straight to the WIP (can't believe I missed it)...
kapam
Incredibly good Spitfire! My hat's off to you on seeing your adeptness at working with PE. Amazing stuff, and I agree with others - it belies the actual scale.

It's great little kit (Airfix what have you done with it, it's disappeared!) and you've really made it shine with all the extra bits & bobs. Super-nifty brush work to polish it off. Justin Hi Justin. I hope you are well. Thank you very much for your very kind comments. Yes, I had noticed there was not as many of these about as before. It's a shame because, as you said, it's a great little kit. It's nicely detailed out of the box and goes together quite nicely too. Kind regards, Stix

112 Squadron
This is an amazing Spitfire. You really did a perfect job here! 👍The Mk 22/24 is actually one of my favorite aircraft and from what I have seen from the comments above I am not the only one who is wondering why this superb 1/72 Airfix Kit has now been out of production since 2016. It´s way about time for a reissue. Edited November 19, 2020 by 112 Squadron

PlaStix
Hi @tonyot, @MRMLA, @Alpha Juliet, @Broadway, @112 Squadron and @Carius. I do apologise for my incredibly slow reply. It has been and odd year and I haven't kept up as well as I should with people's kind comments. Thank you to all of you for taking the time to comment and your kind remarks. It was a lovely project to work on and @112 Squadron - I totally agree. I will certainly be buying another if I get chance. Kind regards, Stix 1

The Shearwater
Breathtaking accuracy & detail for 1/72 (I’m convinced you’ve actually scaled up a big 5p coin instead! 🤣). Really impressive. 1
