F-4j cockpit colours

Hey all, so I have managed to pick up the Academy F-4j Showtime 100 and planning to start the kit I notes it calls for a white colour however when looking at references it seems that the cockpits of phantoms are usually grey. Is the Academy colour call our correct or should I go for a grey - if so does anyone know a tamiya or Mr colour paint I could use?

Dark Gull Grey, FS36321, which is Mr. Color  H317, Revell H4755,  or Modelmaster 1740 in enamel and 4755 acrylic, and Humbrol 140

I have been unable to find mr color which is my go to paint would Vallejo dark full grey suffice if not I will try some modelmaster enamel

I have used the Gunze acrylic and the Modelmaster enamel  FS 36321, and they both looked pretty good compared to the FS color chip, if that helps.

I find Gunze FS36231 to be a bit on the dark side.

I prefer MRP's paint.
