1/24 DODGE CHARGER

Recommended Posts

Not posted stuff on BM recently but am planning on rectifying that now

1/24 Revell 1968 Dodge Charger

Other than adding plug wires all plastic is as it comes out of the box

I used the 'salt weathering' technique that the AFV modellers often deploy, started with MIG Ammo Rust Set which was varnished, salted then applied top coat of Vallejo Game Air green. After masking was removed various Vallejo washes were applied and MIG Ammo Ultra Matt Varnish

Interior 'wood' is hand painted acrylics with Tamiya clear yellow on top, chrome is Molotow pen

Nice job, if I'm being picky I suppose the engine looks a little too clean compared to the body of the car but the engine bay itself looks nicely detailed.

A re-conned engine?

OUTSTANDING  build..

:wow:     :yahoo:

Reminds ME of abandoned  cars found in woods and garages with the rust .

Good technique  of salt weathering... Looks decidedly  like the real thing.

:goodjob:
