The paintwork really makes it pop!

Thanks Adrian.

The Scout has been sitting while I finish some other kits off and while I ponder about detailing the Nimbus. I decided that a little bit of wiring was probably enough. So here it is. The main rotor is also on and all that needs to be done is add a little bit of etch added to finish off.

I need to get this finished and in the gallery. There's very little to do apart from add the wipers, an aerial and small wheels on the skids. I got a detailing kit from Air-Graphics to get a resin Nimbus for a Wasp conversion and it had a couple of the small manouvering wheels for the skids. These obviously won't be needed for the Wasp so on the went.

I like that. I've still got the one I built about 50 years ago in Jordanian colours, now dismantled & after seeing this & revisiting the photos of the one I took at Middle Wallop, I'm thinking one of these would look good. You've provided some very helpful tips along the way. Thanks.

Steve.

The wheels painted no the final etch added, steps and wipers. And this is now finished. It's been sitting for the last week waiting for me to become less lazy and photograph it, or should it be she/her?

A fantastic result from a real classic kit, you really have done a superb job on her and she is a worthy addition to the gallery.

Thanks MM. It was an enjoyable build.

What a lovely build and finish, a lot of detail in a tiny kit.

I did a bit of etch and some further detailing on the engine but the level of detail from Airfix for a kit from 1966 wasn't at all bad.

Don't forget to post some pics in the gallery, we need your entry to help break the forums software! :)

Gallery bound, I just hope I don't break the site!
