keithjs
My latest build is this 1/32nd Dewoitine D.500 by Dora Wings. Not ever building one of their models before I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the mouldings. I found the plastic tho' a little on the hard side. Despite its size the parts count is fairly low too for a 32nd scale model. Built from the box except for a plasticard radiator grill under the nose. I'm not a big fan of photo etch in this situation and these grill parts were supplied as such. I just couldn't get them to hold together square to fit into the opening so I thought it a much better idea to copy the parts in thin plasticard and stick them together. I think the end result is just as good. Anyway, the silver finish is AK Extreme metal over a gloss black undercoat. Thanks for looking. John Masters
Splendid! A gem from the golden age of French fighter design. And built like art.
