Hawker Seahawk Canopy

Hi,

Got the Classic airframes 1/48 Sea Hawk down off the shelf and found that the canopy is missing. Now whether I have lost/misplaced or what I don't know, but it's missing. Does anyone  know where I could get hold of one.

Not my scale, but the Sea Hawk has always been a favorite. I have read in one construction/review article that the canopy that comes in the Classic Airframes kit was not very accurate, and the builder used a Falcon canopy, but didn't list the stock number. You might try a search for one. Hope this helps. From the walk around photos, it looks like it would be fairly easy to make a master and form your own.

Ken, the Falcon vac-form 1/48 Sea Hawk - which is very good - always came with two excellent vac-form canopies, and while Falcon never put that canopy into one of their 1/48 canopy sets, or into the individual canopies range they make for Squadron, it's worth trying them direct to see if they will sell you one direct as the kit is still listed.
