kevinv Posted May 25, 2020 Share Posted May 25, 2020 I am in the final stages of the 1/32 scale F-18E build, can someone tell me if the canopy and windscreen are tinted and in what colour Gold, Smoke etc. before i glue down the windscreen. Doom3r Posted May 26, 2020 Share Posted May 26, 2020 I've seen Super Hornets on the airshows few times as both static and performer and do not recall any canopy tinting on them (last time was 2 years ago). However from same shows I've noticed that Growlers do have windscreen tinting (similar color to Prowlers or and Vipers) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Doom3r Posted May 26, 2020 Share Posted May 26, 2020 (edited) Actually I just checked F-18F pictures and it looks like there is a very subtle gold tinting on thw windscreen.
