Truro Model Builder
After gorging on the modern day Israeli Air Force, day three of our tour was to the Israeli Air Force Museum, somewhere that had been on my list of places to visit for a long, long time. Now, you know that thing when you finally get to do something you've always wanted to and it turned out to be a bit meh? Well, this wasn't one of those. This was everything I had hoped for, and much more besides. So let's dive in. 529 IAI Kfir C7 by Martin Schofield, on Flickr 20080509208 by Martin Schofield, on Flickr The museum area had a small number of current aircraft as part of Hatzerim's own open day, which I won't dwell on, except for this F-16A Netz: 107 General Dynamics F-16A Netz by Martin Schofield, on Flickr Six and a half kills against Syrian aircraft AND a mission mark showing its participation in the Osirak raid. Not bad at all. 'D-120' Avia S.199 Sakeen by Martin Schofield, on Flickr 2057 Supermarine Spitfire LF. Mk.IXE by Martin Schofield, on Flickr 15 Gloster Meteor T. canberraman
I agree with Alpha Delta 210, what a great collection of aircraft most which look in VGC despite the ravages of the Middle East sunlight, Mark
