B-1B Bone, 1/144, Academy

Recommended Posts

Just finished my latest project - one of my very few 1/144 models. This one is breeze to build - just shake the box! :D

Painted with MM Gunship gray and weathered with oil paint's wash. Tiny, tiny cockpit, but still visible, so I had to address this and to add some details (seat belts, control columns)

Overall a nice, easy and quick build. Great company for my 1/144 B-58 Hustler

What an amazing looking Bone, I love all the detail visible in the cockpit. Lovely finish on it too, and a pleasure to look at.

Cheers

Fun build right? I finished one a couple of months ago. Wanted something OOB and quick. Don’t have room for 1/72 version. Only thing non kit supplied, I got resin burner cans from shapeways.

A lovely Bone and very nicely detailed despite the small scale. That said a 1/144 B-1 is much easier to store and display than the 1/72 version which is a beast, and as for 1/48th!?

Thanks for sharing.
