Redstaff
Morning gents Looking towards my next build after the 442 I was looking at a Fujimi kit (first one I will have done) and in the paint call out in the instructions it calls for 92 for some parts (black square with white numbers) but it only goes up to 86 in the paint guide Looking at the parts I would say it looks like carbon fibre, so maybe semi gloss black or carbon decals? Can anyone deny or confirm my thoughts please The kit is the Renault 97T by the way Many thanks Ian
Scott Garard
Ian, Fujimi car kits typically list 2 paint brands - Mr. Hobby - Hobby Color (displayed with H and white square, black number) and Mr. Hobby - Mr. Color (displayed black square, white number). Hobby Color H92 is clear orange Mr. Color 92 is semi-gloss black Cheers! Edited May 22, 2020 by Scott Garard Pic added
bmwh548
It's most likely C92 from Mr. Color, they probably forgot to put it in the paint list at the beginning of the instructions.
Redstaff
Semi gloss black does make sense, so that's what I'll go with I've used Mr Hobby Aqueous for a few things, but mainly Tamiya and Valejo air It's definitely not clear orange (one of the parts is the dash and I've never seen an orange one ) Thanks guys Ian
