It gets better and better. I think those are bolt cutters on the tracks. often used for cutting chain links or pipework too.

I also think a bit more rust/oil on the ground underneath the dozer would look good. They undid those pipes, there would be leaks.

I hope the weather gets better soon so we can see stage 3!

Hi Pete. It probably will, to an extend. ;) but hopefully the overall look will be even more stunning. Glad u like the results so far.

Things to do:

1. Upgrade the steel bracing with minor bolt and plate details.

2. Minor weathering on the steel bracings, lower portions.

3. Complete painting of a welder figure.

4. Filing down, building, and painting a mobil tool metal chester drawers.

5. More weathering on the ground surrounding the D9R.

6. Addind corrugated sidings at both ends of the steel bracing.

7. Adding lighting fixtures and smaller details on the sidings...

8. Painting and weathering the crane rails.

... And whatever comes that needs attention. So you see, Still need more work before it is complete.

The level of detail and the clever, accurate maintenance scene is wonderful - really does look like a real workshop

Amazing work!

Thank you kindly. Yes. It does take time to put everything in place. And I'm still have things yet to do.

Tell the truth, you have found a miniaturing machine and someone's missing a dozer😀

That is one stunning model

And then I read it's not finished

It will be one of the best dioramas ever built

Appreciate your enthusiasm for this dio, I hope the overall look, will be just as stunning to you when done.  Thank you. This is what I have left to do:

1. Upgrade the steel bracing with minor bolt and plate details.

2. Minor weathering on the steel bracings, lower portions.

3. Complete painting of a welder figure.

4. Filing down, building, and painting a mobil tool metal chester drawers.
