This annual sci-fi fantasy model show is held in Louisville, Kentucky in late May. This year, the show was cancelled due to the Covid virus and rescheduled for late October. See details here. Wonderfest runs on a tight budget and this postponement will cost it money and possibly jeopardize future shows. If an effort to help raise money to secure the show's future, a few individuals have created an online model contest called Want-a-Fest. Entries will be judged over what would have been the original weekend of Wonderfest (May 29 weekend). Full details can be found at Want-a-Fest group on Facebook. Note a) you don't have much time, b) there is an entry fee payable through PayPal and c) you can enter anything you've built (doesn't need to be recent). This is a great chance for UK modelers to enter the world of Wonderfest without the plane ride and hotel costs!
