Revell F-101B Voodoo help!

I built this kit many years ago in the original Monogram boxing & apparently the instructions were FAR better cos the Revell ones are utter crap.  Anyway I'm having trouble figuring out exactly where the windscreen between the cockpits goes (part 84), along with the canopy actuating jack) part 60.  There doesn't seem to be accurate or obvious locations for either.  Anyone got a shot of how they did it perhaps?

See if the first link helps- it's not my scale, but does display some nice details for a decent model; if you scroll 'way down the article, you will find a good detail photo of an F-101B that shows the actuating mechanism as well as other nice canopy and rear seat structures. The second link has a walkaround that shows some canopy/cockpit details, but I don't really see any fixed windscreen for the back seat. I have a good friend who has lots of hours in the F-101B and I can ask him. The third and fourth links are to the only photos I could find that showed the second seat wind deflector. I hope these links are helpful- can't have enough One-Oh-Wonder builds on BM!

Built one a couple of months ago , the windshield sits on a slight lip on the forward edge of the rear instrument panel coaming and the actuating arm fits into a box'ish space on the rear of the windshield although it needs to be trimmed to get a fit , both can be seen in the instructions.

The instructions for the original 1:72 Revell USA release and the 1:48 Monogram release can be found on the Scalemates entries for those kits.

Cheers,

Bill

Thanks.  Looking on the Scalemates site, it seems that Revell simply "lifted" the instructions for their issue from the Monogram original.  I can believe that 30+ years ago the instructions weren't better in the areas I'm having issues with as I have no recollection of them being so dubious!  I wonder if Monogram re-did them at some time?
