Great model! The camo is perfect.

Why did you not put white wintercamo on the upper wings and fuselage?

That is superb Roman. I have had one in the stash for a very long time but have never been brave enough to start it as I have heard it is a difficult build. Did you find any problems during the build, it doesn't look like you did anyway?

Thank you for feedback Volker.

Studying original photographs my conclusion is that the lighter color matches the undersides, so I used RLM76 Grey-Blue, instead of White.

The lighter color does not extend onto the upper surfaces according to my research.

Mind you this is my personal Interpretation based on available infos, so please consider it a 'best guess'!

Thank you Duncan!

Given its age, I found the kit easy to build.

Tricky areas are the cockpit-to-fuselage joint and the fit of engines, with some filling and sanding required.

The assembly of the RATO pack struts is a bit fiddly (I broke them while removing from the sprues).

Moderately experienced modelers (and you're way beyond that, Duncan!) should have no problem at all.

Very nice. How did you get to replicate the rivets around the canopy?

Eric,

these are decal strips provided on the Aeromaster decal sheet.

The kit's decal sheet doesn't feature them.

(You don't want to use the kit's decals anyway as they are wrong shape, size, and the sheet was warped and yellow-ish.)

Libor

Thank you very much Libor!

I took a lot of Inspiration from your fabulous build in the Vaillant Wings Airfame Album No.9 "The Arado 234".

I would recommend this book to everyone attempting to build an Arado 234 in any scale (unfortunately it's out of print at the moment).

Hi Roman. I hope you are well. As always, when I see one of your builds is in the RFI section, I know I'm in for a treat! And once again I thoroughly enjoy looking at your artistry in such a small scale! Very well done! :worthy:

Kind regards,

Stix

Hi My Friend Roman!!!

Congratulations for the job you have done with this beauty!!!

This build is a nice surprise to me as is out of your wonderful comfort zone normal prop kits. Really was watching the job and can say you have done a perfect wonderful job here with. This old but beautiful kit.

Have in stash one old Lindbergh kit as two engine variant and two of the DML four engined variant that came to me given by a modeler going out of the hobby at very cheap price...seem nobody here wanted it but the two engine variant is the most popular, but will look what to do one of these days thanks to inspirational builds like this one you.displayed here...

Thank you very much for sharing,

Cheers!!!
