jackroadkill
Hi all, I'm after some advice regarding a pin vise. These aren't something I have any experience of so I was wondering what you would recommend as a good-ish one to start with. I'm budget-conscious but not averse to paying for something of good quality etc. Thanks in advance, JRK
nheather
I’ve just got a cheap one, double ended with each end having two chuck sizes (so four in total) and a box of 20 drills (0.3 to 1.3mm). I have a separate set that came with the vice - about six or so, think about 0.5 to 2.5mm. I appreciate the drills aren’t the best quality but when you are only drilling plastic I find they do the job fine. For me, having a wide range of drills is more important, as mine are mostly used for drilling out gun barrels. Cheers, Nigel
