Reini78
#13/2020 And another one finished. Started with Dragon´s "E" kit but then stole the engine from one of their Ju88 kits and built an "A". Eduard seatbelts added, EZ Line for the antenna wires and brake lines, AIMS decals for the main markings, Gunze RLM70/71 for the replacement wing and old selfmixed RLM76 with Tamiya XF-23 Gunze H314 and H2 and a not known anymore light grey. Build thread here https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235068862-baby-blitz148-junkers-ju188a-2-rächer-iikg6/page/2/ Model shows an aircraft of II./KG6 which took part in Operation Steinbock, also called Baby Blitz by the Brits, and flew nocturnal raids over England. Roman Schilhart
Hello Reini, another stunning model from your factory ... The paint scheme is super-attractive and perfectly executed. (I have the same marking option in 72 but on my Xtradecal sheet the code letters are red?!) Very clean job on the canopy masking, and extra points for the etch gunsight! Respect & greetings from Vienna Roman Edited May 16, 2020 by Roman Schilhart typo

RadMax8
After watching the WIP thread, I can safely say that the time and effort put into this one was well worth it. Excellent paint, masking is clean, and your dad handled the canopy fit issues perfectly. Many thanks for sharing this unique build!
Gary Brantley
Super build! I am so impressed with the whole model but I have to say that cockpit glazing just looks tremendous Reini! Did you use aftermarket masks or cut them by hand? Either way, bravo! This is one very nice scale model dude!
Greg Law
Reini you know I'm going to like that. Looks excellent all round. I hope I can do as well with the one I'm doing in the Journeys End GB.

All the 1/48 decals I know have grey letters. https://www.asisbiz.com/il2/Ju-88/KG6/pages/Junkers-Ju-188A-2.KG6-(3E+HK)-abandoned-Brussels-1944-02.html 10 hours ago, RMCS said: Stunning 7 hours ago, Wulfman said: A great build, I’ve seen a photo of this bird and your model looks very authentic. Interestingly, the code letters on the original photos appear to have different colors on picture #1 (on the port side), whereas they look the same color on picture #2 (starbord side)? B/W wartime shots are difficult to interpret!
