You mean as an extractor fan to remove fumes from the spraying area? Short answer is yes, but is it safe to use with potentially flammable fumes from paint vapour? Much debate on this, whereas some people are okay with using it and some, myself included, would think twice about it. Also does it offer enough suction to properly remove the fumes is another point.
