Good going chaps, it’s not been 24 hours since I posted this proposal and we are already 50% there!

Funnily enough, I seem to have amassed four DC-3 kits, but the problem is I still have decals and plans for quite a few more!

Cheers.. Dave

Thanks for the latest round of support chaps.

18 members so far, so still a way to go before it's even close to the bunfight.

Cheers.. Dave

Blimey Ray.... whatever you do, don’t let @Enzo Matrix see that list... no guesses what he’d say!

The DC-4’s my pick amongst that lot.. I should get one for myself.

Yes why not as like Graeme and Ray lots of kits to choose from although the “original” McDonnell Phantom by MPM I think who did it would have to be the front runner of all the kits possibly followed at the other end of the time scale by the MD-11 (or one if it’s developments if “paper” planes are allowed!).

Thanks Cliff your'e #22

There's plenty of potentially cool subjects and I'll probably change mine a dozen times before this even qualifies for the bunfight.

Cheers.. Dave

Well if someone was to ask me nicely I could be persuaded to build a Frog Boston / Havoc or an Airfix Devastator in prewar colours or a Rareplanes Skyshark

And no Enzo not all of them !

cheers Pat

Thanks Dave, if you want a co-host let me know, if you fancy getting the band back together 😉

cheers Pat

As GB hosting goes, we can always use with some help. Now @vppelt68 and I have kinda got a deal going that should either or both Boeing / Douglas GB’s get up we will share the host / co-host duties, however I’m sure we can find room for a co-co hosting role... and to be honest I couldn’t think of a better modelling mate. We also need someone with an odd sense of humour so I reckon it’s a go-er.
Cheers and thanks.. Dave

Hi Dave

Apologies i dont want to intrude on your existing arrangements with V-P.

Therefore I will just take the role of bad cop, while you 2 do all the cuddly coachie stuff !

All good Pat, as I said there’s always room for more and we all get caught up with ‘life’ in between GB hosting duties. Let’s see what happens, I might be all GB burned out by then anyway?
Cheers.. Dave

Dave (I have a problem - I can't say no!)

Thanks Dave, I've got you down at #26, so we now only need four more names to qualify.

Cheers.. Dave

(Thinking out loud.)

Jet fighter.

Douglas

F3D Skyknight

F4D Skyray

F5D Skylancer

F6D Missileer

McDonnell

FH Phantom

F2H Banshee

XF-85 Goblin

XF-88 Voodoo

F3H Demon

F-101 Voodoo

McDonnell Douglas

F-4 Phantom

F-15 Eagle

F/A-18 Hornet

Total

F5D Skylancer &  F6D Missileer

not in my collection yet,

F3D Skyknight,

F2H Banshee,

XF-88 Voodoo

hard in building models on my criteria,

FH Phantom, F3H Demon, F-4 Phantom,

F-15 Eagle, F/A-18 Hornet are obsolete models in my collection and need to be replaced with more modern ones.

For F4D Skyray need pay aftermarket intake.

Therefore

 remains

F-101 Voodoo and XF-85 Goblin.

Revell F-101B with Pavla cockpit the option is not bad, but it needs to be done together with the F-101C, but I don’t really like the shaft at some point, so as a result of natural selection, only the XF-85 Goblin remains.

Total.

This GB interesting for me, and I have models (McDonnell XF-85 Goblin in 72nd scale from MPM"upgrade") for build in this GB.

But, but I will participate in this GB only if before its start this GB I published  on the BM some finished my model!

🤗

B.R.

Serge
