Academy 1/72 F-16C, 64th Aggressor Squadron (Arctic Splinter)

Hey All,

 

I'd like to present the 1/72nd Academy F-16C/J draped in the splinter camo of the 64th Squadron.

The decals were from the Hobby-Boss boxing.

I took some creative liberties in choosing the Arctic Splinter camo as opposed to the reference in the box as it looked cooler (no pun intended?)

I left the aircraft unweathered (it being Airforce and all) but went to town on the fuel tanks which wouldn't receive as much love as the aircraft itself.

There is no such thing as an “ugly” F-16 and this is one of many reasons why.  Superb results!!!!!

This is awesome! I just finished the same one in BDU splinter! I did the FROG F-16 but it is an academy mold!
