PROPELLER
Rear side is completed! A little coquetry, the hubcap on the spare wheel protection... No more Heller's chrome, only Alclad! Dan. 10
Ghost69
Hello Dan, very nice work as usual. The chrome rendering is superb. Manu
PROPELLER
Dashboard aboard! In the 1/1 life, it's not easy to shoot a dashboard. Here, it's eight times more difficult! I can't do better... And in fact... Dan.
PROPELLER
The wings and the bonnet now on the body! Not perfect but despite my efforts I can't do better... Dan.
Pouln
You often state: Not perfect. To me it looks fantastic, Dan.
PROPELLER
Thanks Poul, but... Firstly I have to thanks everybody! Why? 655 posts, 2621 "like"! Over four time of thanks on my posts... Today, some tiny things, I do like tiny things! The multiple switch. I don't chose the more simple, but the other is the same on the 2CV! Not really class... Of course, very difficult to take pictures in situ, but be patient! Easier, with wiper's motor on background... Behind the scenes... The real thing... Pouln
Amazing stuff, Dan. So much tiny details that look as if they are the 1:1 parts. Can you tell a bit more about the front window opening mechanism? Anything on how you made that.

I can't tell you anything, but I can show you! Hope it will help you... The handle is Heller's one, thanks! Dan.

Pouln
Pictures are better than words. Very nicely done and with that you have a working mechanism. Thanks for sharing
Ghost69
Hello Dan I enjoy myself as I do every time... to the point of viewing your entire subject again. When I look at one of your photos, my brain doesn't say "it's well done" but it gets hotter and hotter to tell me "how should I do this"? And that's great!!!! Keep on regaling us ;o) Manu
PROPELLER
Thank you very much gentlemen! Kind words are always really appreciated... It's a summertime, the 1930's air conditioning is working: Dan.

PROPELLER
Thank you very much gentlemen! Fortunately, it's close to the finish line! I haven't enjoyed this built. Too much issues for a result just acceptable... Remember, pictures lies! Dan.
Ghost69
Knowing a little about your work and your way of doing things, the "just acceptable" must be transformed into the "exceptional" for the common man. We will soon be entitled to a new car, I hope.
Pouln
I do think that Manu is right. Of course you (Dan) are privy to all the shortcomings that you noticed during the build. The casual (or not) observer, seeing your model, will not notice anything like that.

roginoz
That is one STYLISH looking build !! Been following since inception and I'm thoroughly impressed by your style of modelling. A model you can be well proud of ! Rog
Paul H
Wonderful! Not only a fantasic model (at times, it looked like you were posting photos of a real car!), but one of a beautiful vehicle! I'm not sure I'd be brave enough to attempt this in 1:8, but I intend to follow this closely at some point in the future in 1:24. Thank you for documenting everything, it has been extremely interesting to follow.
