ERK
Hi all, I have a few 1/48 kits on the go at the moment - Revell Mosquito IV, Eduard Spit IX, and ICM Spit converted into a Seafire mk.III advanced, I use Tamiya rattle cans for all my main painting as I do not have a sprayer you see, anyway I manage my spraying through careful masking but worry about what I should do when I have to do a top Flat coat over the top including decals, I have a few cans of Tamiya flat coat Laquer but worry how that will get on with the un protected decals. Any advice please, just to reiterate I do not have a sprayer I have till now had to do all my painting by brush till I discovered Rattle can. Red Dog
Flat coat won't affect the decals. Try to avoid going too heavy causing pooling of the flat coat.Light passes allowing the previous pass to dry somewhat be before going over again. Spray cans will eject (if that's the right term) far more of its contents than an airbrush.
