Can't think of anything to put in the space above that would accurately express my reaction when I saw those pics. Well, not that would be acceptable on here anyway!

I have a problem:

I don't like the way the blind looks
The options are:
- stretched blind - but it will cover the bow of the ship
- semi-folded blind - difficult to implement, as the canvas is made of paper
- fully closed blind - I do not like the result,
- both bowsprits are without sails.

The question is:
If the the other sails are stretched, is it possible that the bowsprit sails are not there?

The bowsprit rigging is almost ready. Only setting left.
I struggled a lot with the blinds to make them quite folded.
I don't particularly like them, but I can't do better. They stay that way.
Seal is installed and mounted on 70%.

You have to use a host site, you can't upload directly to this site.

Having said that those sails look fantastic!

Ian

I tried before through a host site - it didn't work...
The photos have already become too many to upload again - I just don't have that time.
I will continue to upload via Facebook, but I will put a link to the other forum, if they disappear.

Greetings!

I'm glad that you like the sails :)

I ordered more blocks in a smaller size for the top sails.
While waiting for them I was busy with anchors, buoys, boats, barrels, etc. small things.
The fore-mast is almost ready, but there is still work to be done on the rigging.

I'm sorry to have to butt in, but it seems that your photo posts aren't working mere hours after you've posted them, and while a few people are able to see them, the majority aren't.  It's not particularly fair on the members, but it's also not acceptable to then tell us all that you're going to keep posting these broken links, but we can visit you on Facebook.  That's against policy on this site unfortunately for you.   Have a look at the announcement here, and you'll see what we mean.  We'd suggest you have another go at using hosting sites for your photos, as it's the only way you'll be able to post your work here, which by the responses from the few that have seen it, is worth the effort.  Otherwise, we're going to have to shut you down, I'm afraid

I'm very sorry, but in the beginning - two years ago, when I started showing the process of making the ship, my Facebook links stayed in the forum for quite a long time.
They only started disappearing when the photos reached 200+...
I tried hosting through a photo site, but it didn't work - the photos didn't get posted here at all.
So I apologized several times and continued to post links from Facebook.
Currently, the photos stay up for about a week, then disappear.
I do not know why.
Your forum doesn't have a direct host option and personally, that makes it quite difficult for me.
I would ask you if you know of any tested hosting site, please share it here - I will try to upload all the pictures of the build.
If I can't handle it, I stop bothering you.
Greetings!

There's an FAQ about various hosts in the Help & Support section. :)

The "invisible" cannons are ready - 60 pieces.
I will not go into more detail, because only 1/3 of the barrel is visible.
I started with a trial removal of the old paint from the galleries:

Although for some reason the pictures don't open for me I understand u have a very interesting and detailed job going on.

👍

Hope to see at least the outcome in all its glory.
