Wolfpack 1/72 T-2C Buckeye

My next lockdown model is now officially finished :)

I used the Eduard photo-etched set, together with metal gear from Scale Aircraft Conversion [SAC-72106]. I must admit some of the parts were particularly fiddly like the arresting hook and the bits and pieces for the landing gear (as shown by the close-up shots). For the high visibility markings I used MM Semigloss Orange #1595. Overall, I am really satisfied how it turned out.

Really nice. I like the Buckeye, not least because from what I understand, the wing shape has its origins in the wing of the P-51. So  first-class pedigree.
