I've a fancy to have a go at the Sanger 48th vac in my stash so I'm starting to get things together. As regards reference material. I have a small selection to hand and Google is definitely my friend on this one, but I need a plan/diagram showing the position of floors and bulkheads. I can make an educated guess but would rather not. To this end is anyone able to assist?

Any help would be much appreciated.

have you tried asking RAF Cosford where they are doing the restoration?  They could give you some actual dimensions.

 

Also, if you do get some proper dimension, it may show up any flaws in Contrail/Sanger kit...not that I'm cynical. 

 

there is also this thread on the Fonderie kit,  (which may owe a debt to the Contrail?)  and a lot of modifications and detail added, and as the main contributors are careful researchers, it gives a good idea of what's required where

I'll @BS103  and @general melchett  as they maybe be able to add some more specific info.
