That's lovely job , on both kits but especially the Broplan model which we all know to be much more work than most vac-forms. Well done and a nice finish as well.

Hi all,

Problem with Broplan kits, especially bigger ones, is the thickness (or lack of it) of the plastic they are using. In small single-engined types they are quite easy to build - in vac-category. But when the type is bigger they need a lot of strenghtening. Biggest Broplan I have been building is the Piper Chieftain which I have strenghtened with plastic card fillings, metal profile wing main spar as well as casting epoxy to nose, wing roots and nacelles. After that I believe I can imagine what is expected for example Gulfstreams, CASA 239 or ATR-72! Hat off!

Cheers,

I haven’t checked in here in a while, thanks to all for the kind words and encouragement! It was almost enough to get me started on the second kit...I decided instead to start on another RVHP Kingair 200

again, thank you!
