A tortuous long-winded account of the build lives over here

Can't believe it's done!  Please forgive the mobile phone photography, my camera is .. somewhere in a box.

Glad to see you’re finally able to call this one done. So much work (and rework) went into this, I’m happy for you. Such a striking livery as well!

Thanks for sharing your build, and the finished product.

Great finish, I like the offset stand, it adds to the illusion of flight.

Great job, thanks for sharing and looking forward to following the Macchi (and Curtiss!)

Bloody wonderful. It's been a long road to travel on this one but worth every step, though your opinion may differ  :D ? I've thoroughly  enjoyed it & the anticipation as it approached finished was well rewarded. It looks fantastic. :)

Spectacular!

Glad to see it in its flying glory!

It was indeed a long journey, but worth every step (and jig!)

Salutes!

(Besides the smart stand, and given that it is a Crusader, could we have as background sound effect the clipetty-clop of a coconut-produced cavalcade?)

That is just stunning! Well done . I have been wrestling with the Karaya 1/72 kit and I appreciate the enormous work you have done with this one - great stuff and an inspiration for me to get back to mine.
