exdraken
Thanks everybody! Of course I will update this thread Colors: Homemade mix of Revell 17, 88, red light grey... and maybe a bit more like the preserved planes, i.e. a bit too redish in tone? ... Will decal it in due course... and then let's see!
exdraken
decals (~14?) are on, it turned out to be XM533 anybody knows if the SKY PIRATES motto was on in theatre already? hard to tell for me from the few photos out there... the decals looks fantastic, as does the artwork representation (and the original artwork of course!) to me they should be a little bit bigger.... I have a hard time to adjust it relative to all the panels and canopy at the same time... never mind, reslut looks great! no clear coat on top as of yet, but tat is soon to come, and some weathering!
exdraken
not sure if anyone actually sees the progress here, but maybe someone will eventually lots of dirt, to be removed later: load out: 1 or 2? early or late in the war? did Buccs dive bomb those on bridges when self lasing? not familiar with old laser bombing techniques... after mayor dirt removal: and with my sons' pirates ye you maties eh! cheers!

Looking very nice with the decals and weathering applied. Yes the "Sky Pirates" and Jolly Rogers flags were applied in theatre, each one slightly different. 1

Col.
Well done Werner The purpose of this STGB was for us all to get together and build Buccaneers. That's what you've done and done a fine job of it
