I gave it one coat of brushed-on Klear floor polish over the fabric areas of the model, and two or three coats on the shinier metal parts such as the wheel spats. She is almost done, just need to tidy up the decals and then install the delicate small stuff like fuel vents, aerials and guns. Lord Riot
How do you get your brush painting so smooth? I have to spray everything otherwise there are brush marks on everything larger than an aerial! 1

The brush marks are there believe me, just don't get too close. Use the biggest brush you can for the job, flat brushes are good for painting an overall one colour, then I use a large pointed brush for the wavy camouflage. Any mistakes I make ( and I make many ) I wipe away straight away with a clean brush dipped in white spirit. regards, adey

But you do have to wonder at the mentality of the period RAF and their "bombers are best" thinking when this was the type of plane they had in mind! Graham Boak
To be fair, it wasn't. It was only a quick gap filler that would do to expand the bomber force until the better stuff came along, whilst serving as a transport when required and carrying out the dual role in the colonies. In the end, the Bombay was used to fill the last role while the Harrow filled the first one, and later the second. This getting more sooner than choosing one over the other.
