Tbolt
I'm building a P-40N and just trying to work out how the bomb shackle fits to the wing. This is the best photo I have found. It looks like there is a plate on the wing which the shackle fits into. Has anyone got a better picture of the plate?

I had the first drawing but not the second one or the photo, so they are really helpful. The photo also confirms that they are in a different position on either wing which is how the drawings are in the Kagero Monograph which I wasn't sure about. It's strange that none of the kits seems to have them in.
BS_w
the shackles are located symmetrical, but the lighting and perspective of the flange give impression that they were asymmetrical Edited April 27, 2020 by BS_w
