Fantastic work, very impressive in both quality of build and sheer size.

Thanks. Gawd knows where I'll keep it, though... It dwarfs the Hobby Boss Black Widow that is its nearest competitor!

OK, I concede... that’s just awesome, however I would not like to have that at my place as there’s so much to look at and I’d get nothing done all day! Marvellous stuff.
Cheers and very well modelled.. Dave

Following your painting trials and tribulations I can only admire your tenacity.

The final result is simply stunning,

WELL DONE!

(I bought the kit and bottled out, selling it later.......un made!)

I don’t know how I missed this first time round, superb finish. I got one but felt overwhelmed with the shear size and amount of detail so sold it on. You’ve nailed it, love the clear side to show all that detail off :)

To paraphrase a famous film: "We're going to need a bigger....display cabinet!".

Looking at all the work on display there, it's no surprise it took 15 months.

A very museum-worthy result, so it was worth it in the end.

:thumbsup::clap::clap:

Oh my word what a stunner great wofk and a great model.  I love the size comparison with the little tiny FW.

I use the same method on my Canopies as find it easier than masking too, obviously not as much as you have done with the clear fuselage half, you need a medal.

I too am very much looking forward to the SH Whirlwind .

Great work

Chris

Well for those men (and it's always men...!) who like to compare sizes, I thought I'd park a 1/72 Wurger on it, simply because I have one in the man cave.  The mat its sitting on is (I think) A2.

My word it's like... a Mouse meeting a Brontosaurus! . Brilliantly done Mike. Museum quality indeed

Well, what *DO* you do with it once complete? First, you get engaged to an extremely sympathetic partner. Then, you build it into a coffee table...
