John Masters
Just to clarify...I am not building a replica of the Dodge in the photograph, but I am using that Dodge as inspiration. Just to clarify, mind you... This is where I'm at now. I have attached all the body work to the chassis. The glass is scrap foil from the UAZ. The tools came with the kit. I have given it some weathering with oils pin washes and dry-brushed aluminum. I had some pump cranks from the spare box, but only two. So I made two more. Looking pretty alright, I think. Nice;y detailed jerry cans from the kit. They will go in the back. I am building an Indian Tank, a kind of backpack water tank. It is made from scrap plastic and Milliput. It will go in the back what the jerry cans. and some other stuff. And here's mock-up of the vehicle. Pretty cool. --John
John Masters
Here's my Indian Fire Tank... Here's the rear of the vehicle with almost everything in place. I have added the two jerry cans of water, a bucket and a coil of rope. And with the Indian tank in place, it's ready for fire season and to be mustered off to the front lines. Try not to notice the cracked hose...🙄 The wheels are next. --John
