There are some military to civilian conversions around here and no one felt offended so far. To be honest, I'd rather see some workhorses in military use than anything with any kind of weapon on it. Thanks. I was thinking of some sort of forestry fire unit. I have seen some good examples of surplus vehicles being used this way. It would be easy to scratch build a small pump housing, reel and hose and fit it on the bed. Decals would be an issue but I think I might be able to fake some markings in gold and black. The kit I will be using is the Dodge that comes with the Italeri C-119 Flying Boxcar kit.
