Dans80
Good afternoon all. Hope everyone is safe and well. Does anyone know what colours the 747's in the Landor livery are? Some pics look like a simple gloss white, where as others look light grey. The bottom shade of blue looks close enough for humbrol 15 to me. Any thoughts ladies and gents. Many thanks Daniel
Dave Swindell
The upper fuselage for the Landor scheme was pearl grey (Xtracolor X304 British Airways grey), and white for the earlier Negus scheme Humbrol 15 is good for the Negus lower fuselage, for the Landor scheme @Skodadriver recomends this which looks better to me as well. Many thanks Daniel Hi Daniel, I have attached a link to a rather excellent build of a 747 in Landor scheme by fellow BM member Deanflyer back in 2014. I believe on page two the thread, Dean confirms he used Gunze Sangyo H326 for the blue which looks like a perfect match. Build thread is also here:- Hope this helps.
